Samsung TV Plus is “kicking it up a notch” with an Emeril Lagasse channel
Samsung TV Plus has been actively adding new content for viewers since it was first rolled out to Samsung TV owners, and now that’s going to include a few new channels for viewers in the US. Samsung TV Plus already offers a varied combination of content. This includes everything from sports to dramas. So, no matter what you’re into, you should be able to find something that you like to watch.
With regard to the new channels for US viewers, there will be two new channels joining the already available offerings on Samsung’s streaming service. It’s also worth noting that this content is not immediately available as of July 31. However, Samsung does plan to bring it to US viewers in August of 2025. That being said, viewers shouldn’t have to wait too much longer before the content is visible.
New channels coming to US viewers of Samsung TV Plus will include an Emeril Lagasse channel
Those who grew up in the 80s and 90s no doubt remember (even if only a little bit) Emeril Lagasse. Lagasse is a cultural icon in the chef world and was all over TV during that time period. From his own cooking show to making appearances on daytime talk shows, Lagasse is a storied chef and restaurateur. Now, you’ll soon be able to enjoy content revolving around the chef and his signature catchphrases anytime you like.
In addition to the Emeril Lagasse channel, Samsung TV Plus will also be getting a Martha Stewart channel.
Samsung is also adding ten new movies
Whether you’re into these new upcoming channels or not, there will still be more content for you. Samsung is also reportedly adding ten new movies for viewers to watch. All ten movies will go live in August,, 2025 just like the two new channels. The movies being added include All Eyez On Me, A Most Wanted Man, Free State Of Jones, I Feel Pretty, Killing Them Softly, Kin, Lucky Number Slevin, Made, The Cabin In The Woods, and Tyler Perry’s Good Deeds. It’s unclear when exactly these movies and the new channels will go live. Samsung only states that it will be in August. However, SamMobile reports that the website already lists the channels. So, they should be going live relatively soon.
Samsung recently committed to adding content from Dhar Mann and other popular creators to the service, too. That content should be going live in the future.
