Joe Pantoliano, the Sopranos alum, has shared his concerns and questioned the direction the United States is heading.
“I’m so uncomfortable with the nature of what’s happening in our country, and I just want to run for the hills,” the actor told Page Six, referring to the current US administration’s decisions.
In his words, the situation has become so dire that he has trouble focusing on work.
“It’s hard for me to think about people’s bulls–t like making a TV show,” the 73-year-old said. “The world is on fire, it’s hard for me to concentrate.”
Joe, who has more than 150 acting credits, is considering moving out of the country.
“We just got back,” he continued. “We really love it there,” though he expressed concern about the 18-hour power blackout that hit Spain and Portugal last month.
“They just got hit with a cyber attack,” the actor added. “and I think that’s just a rehearsal for what will happen here.”
That’s why “I keep a lot of cash at home, not a lot but enough to get me going for a couple of weeks,” cautioning any would-be robbers that “it’s buried and there’s no map!,” Joe concluded.
